A 9’ 6″ Cal Gun, one of my favorite surfboard shapes. This is a hollow wood surfboard built over a wood frame using the strip-build technique. I used mostly light redwood, but also added pine, cedar, poplar, and wenge for color. The artwork on this board depicts five dolphin in motion.
This board was acquired during the Luau and Legends auction – donated to a worthy cause to help fight cancer.
